Shaimaa
Early Intervention Class Teacher
This is Shaimaa Saad, a passionate special educator with more than three years of experience, holding a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and a postgraduate diploma in Disability Sciences and Rehabilitation. My dedication lies in empowering children with disabilities to foster their growth and development. I collaborate closely with parents, therapists, and other team members to provide comprehensive support to children with various disabilities, including autism, intellectual disability, hearing impairment, visual impairment, and others.
As part of my role, I specialize in writing and applying Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs), modifying curriculums and environments tailored to match the unique learning needs of each child, considering their strengths, challenges, and goals. I create innovative activities to simplify concepts and employ task analysis techniques and strategies to break them down into manageable steps to further develop their life, social and educational skills inside and outside the classroom.
Additionally, I believe in prioritizing keeping parents regularly involved, updated and equipped with the right methods and techniques, recognizing their crucial role in their child’s development and empowerment. I continually seek new ways to support my students, striving to help them unlock their full potential.
