Rania
Behavioral Therapist
Rania holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and has been a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) since 2020, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support children’s development. Her journey in assisting children began in 2018 when she worked as an educator, advocating for students with various challenges to help them become productive and engaged members of the community. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience working with children aged 2 to 17 years, who have diverse behavioral, developmental, and learning difficulties.
Rania’s expertise includes using assessment tools like the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VP-MAPP) and the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS). She is well-versed in various methodologies and assessment techniques to tailor therapy and monitor progress effectively. She is trained to implement PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) with non-verbal children.
One of Rania’s core beliefs is the importance of involving parents in the therapy process to achieve successful outcomes. To support this, she creates home programs, skill acquisition plans, and provides parents’ training. Furthermore, Rania is currently undertaking courses related to becoming a qualified Autism Services practitioner-supervisor (QASP-s) with the goal of achieving board certification in behavior analysis through the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA®).
