The Occupational Therapy (OT) department at Stars focuses on helping children with sensory, cognitive and developmental difficulties to be as independent as possible in all areas of their lives. OT can help children with various needs improve their cognitive, physical, sensory and motor skills. It can also enhance their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment. Occupational therapists can evaluate children skills for playing, school performance, daily activities and compare them with what is developmentally appropriate for their age group.
Occupational therapist might be a part of multidisciplinary team or/and school team.
